Sonja Tafelmeier & Vincenzo Galluzzo
Sonja Tafelmeier and Vincenzo Galluzzo get to know each other in 2015. The synergy effects of their two different approaches to technology and design are not so far away: in 2016, they are developing their own strategy merging design and technology, with which high-tech and high-fashion play together confidently. In the same year, Sonja & Enzo launched the high-tech fashion brand SuperConducTor with this new strategy and received the international invitation to tender for the New York Fashion Week. In the New York headquarters of Samsung USA they presented their brand in a world-wide first 4-level virtual reality fashion show.
Vincenzo continues to refine the innovation in high-tech applications: he is developing a surprising digital technology for bags and mobile transport units. It is obvious that smart innovations in accessories go far beyond the usual luxury goods market, with many possibilities for applications and target markets.
In the spring of 2017, the founders will meet scientists and engineers from the Fraunhofer Institute at the international trade fair Techtextil in Frankfurt am Main: they can immediately inspire the institute for their innovations. Sonja & Enzo are following the invitation of the Fraunhofer Institute IZM to Berlin, and during that exploratory talk a cooperation is agreed on site. Under these circumstances, Sonja & Vincenzo found a joint venture, the Vintecal GmbH, and embed the brand SuperConducTor in it. In the late autumn of 2017, the two founders meet Dr. Ulrich Wesser, who supports them in their technical conception, thus significantly expanding their team.
Now in October 2018 – after the first test bags are ready for implementating the technical innovations – the actual phase of technology elaboration begins: a fingerprint-controlled zipper that opens and closes semiautomatically – the ONE-TOUCH-SECURITY is created.
